Hello friends & Welcome to my Website!
My name is Sim Yee, a teddy bear artist based in Singapore. A chance encounter of miniature and dollhouse teddies have inspired me to learn the art of teddy bear making. I soon started designing and making my own teddy bears, leading to the creation of my brand, 'CraneBeary.' As the name suggests, 'crane' symbolises peace and harmony, while 'bear-y' represents teddy bears.
When crafting these bears, my main focus is on giving them an expression that resonates with my heart. I sincerely hope that my creations will bring you Delight in my Unique way.
Feature of the Month - Snow
Snow is a polar bear cub created for the teddy bear contest in the Japan's 34th Teddy Bear with Friends convention held on 19-20 October 2024 at Haneda, Japan. He is named after the Games of Throne character 'Jon Snow' and is inspired from a documentary series about a mama polar bear and her 2 cubs travelling from their den across the vast tundra to the seaside to hunt for food. Polar bears are amongst the most resilient creatures on earth live in harsh weather conditions and smart to adapt their hunting methods to survive climate change.
Snow is made from off-white alpaca fur fabric and lambskin paw pads in trapunto technique. He has loc line running from his head down his body as well as in his hands and legs, giving him mobility to pose in various positions. His eyes are of brown glass with eyelids, clay nose and felt wool tongue. He is lightly shaded for an accented look, and adorned a bright happy smile. Although he did not make it to the finals, Snow has won a special place in the heart of someone who has given him a good home.

Hi ya! We are back from the recent Japan's 34th Teddy Bear with Friends convention held in Haneda, Japan and were happy to meet many talented artists and bear friends during the 2 days convention. We hope to be there again next year (fingers crossed 🤞)

Hello! We are super excited to be participating in the Japan's 34th Teddy Bear with Friends convention. This year the Convention will be held in conjunction with the Titanic Bear Othello Exhibition over a 2 day period from 19th Sat & 20th Sun October 2024 at Haneda Airport Garden 1F. Other than teddy bear and friends from close to 190 artists available for adoption during the convention, there will be special events such as:
◼︎Charity Raffles (held on both days)
◼︎Charity auction (held on both days)
◼︎Talk show by Mr. Getz Seider, an antique toy appraiser (held on both days)
◼︎Treasure appraisal meeting by Mr. Getz Sidel, an antique toy appraiser (held on both days)
◼︎Titanic Bear Othello Plush Toy Workshop
If you are visiting Haneda Japan during that period, do drop by and say hello. We are located at table D06 and will be there for the 2 days. We have free entrance tickets to give away. If you need any please PM us.....xoxo
